A pre-banded translucent baitfish skirt — clear with a green highlight and copper-red accents — for the finesse end of the replacement-skirt rack, where the bait should suggest a baitfish rather than announce one. It is the subtle end of the pre-banded rack.

Avoid when:
Avoid it in muddy water: a mostly-clear skirt lives on light passing through it, and there is no light to pass. That water belongs to the white-chartreuse and solid brights.

The 8861-052-BS is a pre-banded replacement skirt in Clear with Green, Copper, and Red highlights, from the Pre-Banded series. Sold in packs of 5, 10, 50, and 100 skirts. Each skirt arrives banded and ready to seat on a standard collar groove.

Why it works:
Translucence is the point: light through clear silicone reads as the soft flash of a live baitfish, and the green-copper highlight gives it a spine of colour without solidifying the profile. On clear-water baits it is the difference between a lure wearing a skirt and a bait with a body.

Where it works best:
In clear to lightly stained water on swim jigs, spinnerbaits, and finesse bladed baits, wherever bass are eating small baitfish and inspecting what they chase. It keeps a finesse profile even on windless, glass-flat days when everything else looks too loud.
