The LB-3300 is a 3/8 oz Poison Tail jig head painted in Monkey Milk (Nova Stone Chameleon #034) and assembled in the USA exclusively for LunkrBytes by a small American craftsman. Every head is poured, painted with a chip-resistant Pro-Tec finish, fitted with a Mustad 3/0 black nickel hook and a medium clear fiber weedguard, then inspected before packaging. Slide any replacement bass jig skirt straight onto the collar — or hand-tie your own skirt directly to the collar for a more secure hold than a standard banded skirt.

Color: Monkey Milk — Nova Stone Chameleon #034

Monkey Milk is a pearl iridescent Nova Stone Chameleon paint that shifts color with available light — mimicking the lateral flash of a gizzard shad or shiner. In clear water on overcast days this color is almost unfair. The go-to shad imitation for highland reservoir spotted bass.

Best For / Avoid

• Avoid: Slow bottom dragging. This head is engineered for horizontal movement — keep it swimming through the strike zone.

Technique

Steady retrieve on 12-15 lb fluorocarbon with a medium-heavy 7-foot casting rod. Vary speed to find the triggering cadence. The 3D eyes and skirt kick seal the deal on the pause.

Trailer Synergy

Pro Tip: Monkey Milk + Poison Tail

Schooling bass drop bait: When fish blow up on shad near the surface, throw this head with a white paddle-tail past the school and let it sink. Bass that miss the topwater blast will nail it on the fall — the 'drop bait' strategy catches fish other anglers miss.

Skirt Trimming Tip

Taper the front third of the skirt slightly shorter than the rear strands to create a gill-flare effect — longer on the outside, shorter in the center — mimicking a baitfish opening its mouth. Leave rear strands full length for maximum kick on the pause.

3D Glass Eyes

4mm red 3D glass eyes. In clear water, bass key on the eyes of prey as a strike trigger. The red eye mimics an injured or feeding baitfish and increases commitment from sight-oriented fish in pressured environments.
