Best use:
The finesse half of the 60° family: 1X fine wire and a flat eye, in 2/0 through 5/0. Reach for it when the build wants a lighter hook — finesse jigs, light-wire swim jigs, and heads poured for open-water work.

Avoid when:
Avoid it where the fight argues for heavier wire — around wood, rock, and heavy vegetation the standard-wire 60° round bend (32786NP-BN) gives up less. It is also not the hook for a 90° or 30° mold; the eye angle has to match the pour.

The 32798NP-BN is Mustad's UltraPoint 60° flat eye jig hook drawn in 1X fine wire, black nickel finish. Stocked in sizes 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, and 5/0, in packs of 25, 50, 100, and 1,000 hooks.

Why it works:
Lighter wire penetrates with less force and lets a finesse bait move the way it was tied to move. The chemically sharpened UltraPoint needle point is the same fast-setting point the heavier hooks in this range carry, so going finer does not mean giving up the set.

Where it works best:
In finesse jig heads and lighter swim jig pours, on spinning or casting gear where the rod, not the winch, does the work. It pairs naturally with lighter skirts and compact trailers that match the wire.
