Best use:
The Skipjack bend on a 90° eye, sized 1 through 8 — the other small-size jig hook in the range, for ball-head and light jig pours where the Skipjack profile fits the bait better than an Aberdeen. Run it beside the Aberdeen and let the bait decide which bend fits.

Avoid when:
Avoid it for heavy-cover bass work — like its Aberdeen sibling this is a light-jig pattern, and the size run stops at 1. Match the mold: a 60° or 30° pour wants the hook cut for that angle.

The 32500-BN is Mustad's 1X Strong 90° Skipjack jig hook in a black nickel finish. Stocked in sizes 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8, in packs of 100 and 1,000 hooks.

Why it works:
The 1X strong wire adds strength over the standard draw while keeping the hook light enough for the small-jig work these sizes are for. The 90° eye is the angle the classic round-head molds are cut to, so the pour seats clean and the jig rides level.

Where it works best:
In 90° pours for crappie, panfish, and light freshwater jigs — the same molds as the Aberdeen, chosen by which bend the bait wants. The smaller sizes carry marabou, tinsel, and tube builds; 1 and 2 reach into light bass territory.
