The LB-2500 is a 5/16 oz Ball Head jig head painted in Shad Gray (Barlow's #013) and assembled in the USA exclusively for LunkrBytes by a small American craftsman. Every head is poured, painted with a chip-resistant Pro-Tec finish, fitted with a Mustad 4/0 black nickel hook and a light clear fiber weedguard, then inspected before packaging. Slide any replacement bass jig skirt straight onto the collar — or hand-tie your own skirt directly to the collar for a more secure hold than a standard banded skirt.

Shad grey is a direct imitation of the gizzard shad that dominates forage bases across Southeast impoundments. When fish key on shad on main lake structure — points, humps, ledges — this neutral grey matches the exact color profile of a dying shad spiraling toward the bottom.

Technique

10-12 lb fluorocarbon on spinning gear. Target dock corners and rocky points. Allow a natural fall on semi-slack line and feel for the subtle tap of a spotted bass inhaling the bait.

Weedguard: Light — 18-Strand Clear

The lightest and least visible guard in the lineup. Virtually disappears in clear water. Ideal for finesse presentations where gear visibility is a factor.
