Technical Specifications

The LB-2200 is a 3/8 oz Arky jig head painted in Monkey Milk (Nova Stone Chameleon #034) and assembled in the USA exclusively for LunkrBytes by a small American craftsman. Every head is poured, painted with a chip-resistant Pro-Tec finish, fitted with a Mustad 4/0 black nickel hook and a medium green pumpkin fiber weedguard, then inspected before packaging. Slide any replacement bass jig skirt straight onto the collar — or hand-tie your own skirt directly to the collar for a more secure hold than a standard banded skirt.

Color: Monkey Milk — Nova Stone Chameleon #034

Monkey Milk is a pearl iridescent Nova Stone Chameleon paint that shifts color with available light — mimicking the lateral flash of a gizzard shad or shiner. In clear water on overcast days this color is almost unfair. The go-to shad imitation for highland reservoir spotted bass.

Why the Arky Head?

The flat, angled head design creates a horizontal, side-sliding fall that triggers reaction strikes from bass positioned at any depth in cover. The same head skips easily under docks and swims like a swim jig — the most versatile style in the lineup.

Best For / Avoid

• Avoid: Open deep water where a football wobble or natural ball-head fall is more effective. The arky shines in contact with cover.

Technique

Master the skip cast for docks. On pitches, keep slack out and watch the line on the fall — most strikes happen on the descent. The flat arky head also swims effectively at a slow, steady retrieve along the bottom.

Blends the guard into natural vegetation and organic bottom material. Critical detail when fishing grass, pads, or lily stems.

Trailer Synergy

3-3.5" chunk or craw (Zoom Chunk, NetBait Paca Craw). For pitching presentations, a craw with active claws adds the triggering movement on a slack line fall.

Pro Tip: Monkey Milk + Arky

Schooling bass drop bait: When fish blow up on shad near the surface, throw this head with a white paddle-tail past the school and let it sink. Bass that miss the topwater blast will nail it on the fall — the 'drop bait' strategy catches fish other anglers miss.

Skirt Trimming Tip

Clear water: trim to 80% of original length for a compact, natural profile. Stained water: leave full length for maximum water movement and vibration. Always use sharp scissors in one clean motion across all strands — never pull individual strands.
